Phool hi Phool Khil Uthe.....

Millions of fans of Mehdi Hassan will be grateful to the Govt. of Pakistan for finally acknowledging the living legend.

For those who do not know, Govt. of Pakistan has fixed an honorarium of Rs. 50,000/-. per month for the life time to Mehdi Hassan the greatest ghazal singer living today. This recognition comes at the time when he is unable to sing due to his ill health.

I hope that this kind gesture inspires many other Governments in the World, particularly the Indian Govt. which is so engrossed in its self sustainment that it invariably forgets to recognize, pro actively, the greatest talents and achievers which makes India a unique culture. (Certainly I don't mean that this negative trait should form the part of the culture). Only after considerable pressure from the fans and admirers someone will wake up in New Delhi and come up with the idea of how to use this missed opportunity by planning a damage control exercise to their political advantage.

Late Ustad Bismillah Khan was one of the classic example of such response. The list can be very large if someone can compile it. Big and small artists in Bollywood alone will fill up the list by and large, leave alone the other painters, musicians, craftsmen and many talented citizens in urban and rural India.

It would be nice to see that any such recognition of the main artist also includes his/her key team members. Most of them have remained through out their Life with their masters and are also unable perform due to disability or old age. Whatever the case may be...

I remember, during one of the live performances in Mumbai, Ustad Amir khan, suddenly stopped singing and commented " Gaana wohi jo Rooh soone aur Rooh soonaye (a (good) song is the one which is sung by the soul and heard by the soul)" and then he resumed...

Thank you Govt. of Pakistan for standing by Mehdi Hassan and not only making him feel proud of his achievement but also to his admirers as well.

Finally, good citizens of US have risen against their most irresponsible president and the liar of the century, George Bush. Impeachment is initiated.

Irrespective of the outcome, the good has risen against the bad and refrained from committing sin by remaining silent.

People of India taken Left and Right by the Center !!!

Left has rightly left the Right which is no longer right.

The leftover Right has no other option but to pull a fast one on the people of India by the support of the leftover parties.

The leftover Right has a fast moving agenda of pushing their not so right decision before they left or are left by the leftover (yet) sane population of India.

Is it a suicide taught by the poor farmers of India or the mass murder with nuclear dose by the politicians who have left all ethics and morality in the biggest trash of the World?

Health News:

CPI (Commonsense Press of India) has reported spread of a new epidemic in Indian Subcontinent.

This epidemic is considered to be a variant of Jaundice.

Although, it has many symptoms of the original jaundice, quite a few new ones have been noticed. Following are the main symptoms.

Physical:

Patient quickly looses a normal human vision (peripheral) and develops the Hawk vision. (Single pointed). E.g. In the rose garden, patient is unable to see the Garden, Gardeners, Rose but only sees Bush.

Unlike original jaundice where patient sees everything yellow, In this case he or she only sees Green. A remarkable observation here is that on the LEFT side patients sees Red as dark red but on the right side he sees Red as Green.

Patient develops aversion towards RED colour.

Psychological effects:

Patient looses Right brain functionality. Only LEFT brain is evident.

Patient is unable to see any vehicles like tractors, bullock carts, Cranes, Construction equipment etc. but can only see golf buggy.

Patient quickly losses Intellect and Reasoning ability.

Hallucinations - Start believing Future as a cure for present problems.

Refuses curative treatment and believes that normal people with the ability to see things clearly have contracted the decease. In the process he directly or indirectly promotes the spread of epidemic.

While going to the press, a team of psychologist, sociologists, philosophers and doctors are investigating the origins of this epidemic but believe the origin to be PMO's office in Delhi. PM himself has been worst affected by this epidemic and is believed to be the carrier. While it is not yet established how long the virus has been dormant, it is believed that he may have contracted the disease during his college days in US or through other channels like Nuclear contaminated wine or water during his many visits to US.

A large section of the Indian society is still LEFT without contracting this new disease and therefore has been able to retain their common sense and health. But it is any ones guess how long they will be LEFT without getting affected by this epidemics.

At this stage no cure appears to be on sight and the future of patients is uncertain. But it is assumed that if the they can resist, change in Global weather in November 2008 may help in combating this disease.

Terror of War on Terror

According to Anti War website (http://www.antiwar.com/casualties/), since the Iraq war, 4113 American soldiers have died and 30333 have been wounded in combat. These are the official figures. The estimated figures of wounded are much higher around 100,000.

Besides, the great self proclaimed advocate of Peace and Liberation, Mr. George Bush have liberated 1,225,898 Iraqis by killing them in the so called war on terror.

Billions of dollars of US tax payers not counted.

Soldiers from other countries killed are not included.

Resultant effect on Global economy not owned up by Bush, but severely felt by every citizen of the under developed countries.

I don't support terrorism in any form nor I like to glorify their shameful act. But the Mind rolls..... by now the real terrorists must have definitely developed a great inferiority complex in comparison to Bush, in inflicting the greatest pain and suffering on innocent people across the World.

Mind prays, may this X'mas brings real Peace and Happiness to the Mankind.
